Guess and Check

For today my maths was to work out division.I had to work it out as a guess and check strategy. Afterwards on the calculator I checked to see if my answer was correct. Around the first couple of questions I got confused but when it came to the last three, it was a whole lot harder to do. Finally after checking my answers I discovered that I had got all my answers right.

Chalk Art

We have been studying the olympics for the last couple of weeks. Every Wednesday we practiced drawing our sport so that we could draw it in chalk and then take a photo after we finished.Today we got the chance to use the chalk because it was a sunny day.I choose hockey as my sport.When I was drawing my hockey stick I made it look like a candy can but upside down and diaganel.Once I finished mine I had to get my teacher to come and take a photo.while she was taking the photo she told me to stand up and try to pretend that I am holding the hockey stick.After it was all dome she told me to go and help someone else.

Cook Island Culture

Today some Cook Islanders and people from the museum came to our school to talk to us about the history and culture. They told us how they designed their waka. They used the husk from the coconut to make a string and then they thread it through the wood to combine them together. But to make the wood stick together they use tree sap from the grapefruit tree. I learned that some Cook Islanders call a waka vaka are. Learning about the Cook Island culture was really interesting sahaly when they told us about how they make the waka.

Everyday Theatre

Today our class had two women come to our class and did a little performance. After that we played some games while we were playing game we earned bonus points and passwords. When we were playing the games every had a laugh.At the end we got a badg and a card.
